Mod of the Month - June 2009
With the school holidays fast approaching and plenty of warm, dry, paint spraying friendly weather around, it's true modding season at last. However before you start measuring twice and cutting once, be sure to check out our project log forum for some added inspiration - we pretty much guarantee you'll find it in abundance!
Even if time is short and you're keen to get modding, we highly recommend you check out this month's Mod of the Month line up which focuses on six of the best mods we've looked at over the last few weeks. As always, their creators are from all over the world and while there are one or two old hands, we're seeing plenty of new talent arriving too which is awesome! Judging by the skill on show we hope the newcomers stick around and that they enjoy their new home. Welcome to the best modding site on the internet guys.
Turning back the clock a few weeks, May's Mod of the Month proved to be very popular with plenty of votes for each of the nominees which goes to show you've all got what it takes. In the end it was a landslide victory by
Neptune's Trident by Boddaker who secured 43 votes with his awesome triple water-cooling loop monster in a Lian Li V2000.
The mod looks fantastic with it's new paint job and deserved to win although
Project AluChill by NysoO wasn't far behind. If you missed last month's Mod of the Month, you can still take a look at the contenders
here.
We've teamed up with our long term sponsor
AC Ryan again who will be providing some great prizes for the winner. This month we have a mixture of scratch builds and mods on existing cases including a massive tower holding 30TB of hard drives, a Stargate-esque Pyramid PC and even a Lian Li case that's been polished so prolifically, it looks like it's been plated with chrome! There should be something for everybody so make sure you check them out and head over to our forums to vote for your favourite.
Here are the contenders for Mod of the Month June 2009.
